10 bay Modular NHS Health Facility, IRC Derwentside (Consett)

Located on the Old HMP Hassockfield, Consett

This was a concept facility which was requested during COVID and needed to be designed, manufactured and handover in 18 weeks and we successfully delivered this in 17 weeks. A number of other Modular manufacturers were approached and confirmed they could not achieve the times scales, however Acrol Modular committed to the project.

Timescales were due to political issues and was planned to opened (and did) on a certain date by Conservative MP Priti Patel.

• Full Dentals suite, with lead lined walls, dental chair, dental worktops,  clean & Dirty decon rooms – Breckon
• 5 Consultancy rooms,

• Part NHS compliancy for heating & Ventilation (air changes & filtration) – derogated – Acrol Air Conditioning
• SR2 security – Robust
• Reception area & desk – T Manners
• BMS – Acrol Air Conditioning
• Access Control – DataFS
• Staff attack system – SAS
• FAP, IAP systems (addressable) – DataFS
• Intercom system – DataFS
• Fire & Acoustic stopping – Isoler
• Flooring – Monument
• Suspended ceilings – Quantum
