Location HMP Whatton, Nottingham

Commissioned by a Tier one contractor to design, manufacture and installation of a short term hire medical unit, which also included groundworks/foundation, but limited due to the location. No drainage was available for additional effluent tanks needed, including macerators to pump effluent into the tanks. Razor wire brackets and razor wire by others.

Included several consultancy rooms, with IPS HTM panelling and Sink/taps. Internal Doors had MoJ viewing Port holes retrofitted onsite

Commissioned by the client to design, manufacturer and install the modular Nursery. This was a full Turnkey solution, including groundworks, foundations and landscaping, with proportion of planning and Building control support. This also included a windcatcher on the roof to comply with BB93 due to increased aircraft noise.

This also included moving an existing 40ft container and the relevant groundworks

Commissioned by a training provider to design, manufacture and install 4 new training classrooms, permanent. This was a full turnkey solution, which included groundworks such as foundations (not landscaping).

Installation also included several staff being re-certified for Firestone installation training.

Windows & internal door, via CB solutions, external doors via Robust, crane via Bryn Thomas.

Location: Stockton – Teeside

Commissioned by a Tier one contractor to design and manufacturer 3 no gatehouse & supplier a stores jack leg cabin. The units had Isoclad PIR Micro rib cladding externally, Suspended ceilings, plus skirt around the bottom. Unfortunately, no finished externals as they were delivered long before main building and landscaping were completed.

Crane supplied by Bryn Thomas, Windows and Doors by CB solutions and external steps by Easisaccess

Location: Killingworth, Newcastle

The 5 no Bay Modular was their own existing unit, where we had to remove it from another local school site, into our Gateshead factory where it was refurbished (mainly internally). The new build was manufactured there also and they were eventually both installed on the same site as two separate buildings.

Acrol Modular acted as the Main Contractor for this Full Turnkey project, including Groundworks & Foundation by GB Civils (including Fencing & gates), Full M&E spec with the Air con by Acrol Air conditioning, Door access, FAP & IAP Alarms by Crusader. Transport by SF Haulage and Crane by Bryan Thomas. All other works by Acrol Modular.

Full M& Spec, with Air Con by Acrol Air Conditioning, plus an internal sliding & bi folding wall by AEG Partitions.

The unit was 60min fire rated throughout, with a finish external finish of Cedral cladding. The unit was located in small courtyard and had to be craned (by Bryn Thomas) over other buildings during a weekend install

Inhouse staff training facility manufactured inline with MOJ standards

Brickslip external cladding was completed in the factory, with the Air Conditioning by Acrol Air Conditioning Company. Crane by Bryon Thomas & Transport Via SF Haulage. Due to internal gate header sizes, an additional crane was located external of the HMP facility to remove and land them onto a super loader which was ferrying modules to the final installation location.

Full M&E Spec, including SR2 Main doors, plus suspended ceilings.
